A Family Clinic

Maple Leaf Medical Centre (previously known as Centre Clinic) is a well-established clinic in the Thomastown locality, serving the area for decades until today.

In order to provide an even better quality of care, we are upgrading the clinic into a modern facility and we have been an accredited clinic with GPA Accreditation Plus (GPA) since May 2021. This means our Maple Leaf Medical Centre meets rigorous guidelines specifically developed for organisations delivering general practice.

Dr. Hung Phu Tran (Andre), a GP with many years of experience in primary care has been providing excellent care for patients, families and the community. We are also inviting more healthcare professionals to broaden the scope of and enhance the quality of our services.

Dr Kun Lin Chua is an experienced and caring General Practitioner who provides comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages. He takes a patient-centred approach and is committed to providing thorough, compassionate care.

Dr Chua also provides a range of in-clinic procedures, including iron infusions, wound care, minor procedures, and other general practice services.

Our vision is to create a healthier everyday life for our community.

An Accredited Clinic

We are delighted to announce that our practice has been awarded Accreditation by GPA in May 2025

Accreditation is a process that acknowledges a practice has met high standards of safety and quality to improve the health care of people, families and communities.

GPA Surveyors consider many aspects of General Practice using standards set by the RACGP, which is currently on its 5th Edition.

These standards address key features from communication with patients to system management.

To achieve accreditation, it is necessary that the practice provides quality, comprehensive and continuing care to the patients in a caring environment.
